Speedy Registrations Co Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. This policy explains how we use and protect the information that you provide us with.
COOKIES AND THE "PRIVACY IN ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS REGULATIONS 2011"
In May 2011, the European directive referred to as the "Cookie Law" became law in the UK although it was not until May 2012 that changes needed to be made. Cookies are small files of letters and numbers stored by your web browser onto your internet enabled device (PC, Mac, mobile etc). They enable the website to "remember" certain things as you move from page to page or potentially if you revisit the site later. The law was brought in primarily to help stamp out advert tracking where sites can track which adverts youve clicked on to determine your preferences.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
When you place an order with us or make an enquiry with us, you provide us with information including your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and, if you place an order with us, your credit card number and expiry date. We ask for this information so that we can process your enquiry or order. You will be contacted by email and possibly telephone relating to your order or enquiry, however your provided details are never passed to any organisation outside of our company, as all enquiries and orders are handled in house.
Your credit card details are NOT stored in any form by Speedy Registrations Co Ltd but are instead processed remotely via our secure links to bank approved card processing facilities (SecureTrading and PayPal). This means that you will need to provide your card details for each transaction you place with us and no member of staff has access to any payment details. Only selected members of our Accounts team can gain access to SecureTrading or Paypal and neither of these services show your payment details.
