Happy Birthday Zlatan Ibrahimovic!

Today we celebrate the 36th birthday of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish footballer who plays as a forward for Manchester United.

Zlatan has been playing football for most of his life. It all started when he was given a pair of football boots as a present when he was six years old. I bet whoever gave him those boots didn’t realise quite what they had started!

However, after playing for his home town club, Malmo FF, he very nearly gave up football altogether when a job at the Malmo docks took his fancy. But, his manager talked him into keeping it up. That was a pretty good decision!

Zlatan has played for many teams over the years. From Malmo FF he moved to Ajax then he moved on the Juventus. In 2006 he then went to Internazionale after which he transferred to Barcelona. He would then play for Milan in 2010 before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 2012. He played with them for several years until he joined Manchester United in 2016 where he has been ever since.
