2017 Gran Fondo Giro D’Italia Set To Be The Best Yet!

For anyone with a love of cycling, it’s all got pretty exciting in recent years. The Tour de France visited Yorkshire and the Giro d’Italia came to Belfast.

The Giro d’Italia first came to Belfast in 2014 and it was a huge success. It returns for a third time this year and it’s set to be even bigger and better than ever before. Thousands of cyclists from all over the world flock to Belfast to compete. The great thing about this race is that it’s open to all abilities. There are two different courses, the Strangford Route is 58km long and the Mourne Route is 175km so both advanced and beginner cyclists can join in. This year the race starts and finishes at a new venue, Stormont Estate. All roads are closed for the race making it both safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

After the race there’s a big party planned where you can enjoy  a wealth of Italian food, beer and wine. That sounds like the perfect way to celebrate! You’ll even have the chance to have your photo taken with the Giro d’Italia trophy.

If you are a fan of cycling, why not treat yourself to a bicycle related private plate? Of course you can’t put it on your push bike, but at least everyone will know that you love your bike, even when you’re in the car!

So how about at BYK plate? We’ve got plenty of those for you to take a look at. You may like B1 BYK or maybe B8 BYK will suit you? We’ve also got some great CYC plates. You can choose between C1 CYC, C10 CYC, CY51 CYC and many more. If cycle racing is your thing, or perhaps you own a racing bike, you’re going to love these fantastic plates. RAC 13R, RAC 3R and RAC 8R are all fabulous and all available right now. One of my personal favourites is RAC 111G, isn’t it a brilliant plate? If you’re more into BMX bikes then you’re in luck. We’ve got loads of BMX plate starting at just £199. How about BM02 BMX, C15 BMX, D7 BMX, C1 BMX or BMX 1X? There’s plenty more besides these. Just type BMX into our search box and you’ll see all your BMX plate options.

Good luck to everyone who is participating in the Giro d’Italia, and to anyone spectating and supporting and the racers, have a fantastic day!
