So you’ve got a bonus day off work and the weather forecasters are predicting a heatwave. That sounds like the perfect combination for a fun day out! There are loads of great events going on all over the country, we’ve picked out some for you if you’re on the lookout for a brilliant way to make Monday a fun day!

Knebworth Classic Motor Show

Held in 28 acres of formal gardens, Knebworth Classic Motor Show has displays of around 1000 classic and collectable vehicles. The live arena will play host to several parades and interviews as well as the Decibel Duel where owners compete to see who has the loudest car!

Tunerfest

Tunerfest at Donington Park showcases some awesome performance cars. From rally cars to supercars there’s plenty to see here. There’s a great traders area if you’re on the lookout for rare styling and upgrading parts, and you can even take to the track yourself if you’ve ever fancied driving the iconic Donington circuit.

Durham Classic Car Gala

For those further north, how about a trip to Durham Classic Car Gala? The event is spread over three locations within the beautiful Durham city centre. The event promises to be family friendly and have something for everyone including food stalls and a Glenn Miller Tribute Show.

Cowley Classic Car Show

Classic car lovers will have a brilliant day out at the Cowley Classic Car Show. This year is a special celebration in honour of 60 years of the Mini. You can have your photo taken with your favourite car, and there’s plenty for all the family to enjoy too such as free bus rides, stalls to browse and a funfair.

Car Running Day at Lincolnshire Transport Museum

Seeing the vehicles at Lincolnshire Transport Museum is a great day out in itself, but visit the museum this bank holiday Monday and you’re in for a huge treat. It’s car running day so you can have the chance to actually travel in one of the many classic cars in the collection.
