Goodwood Festival of Speed is an event like no other. Held in the parkland of Goodwood House from 4th – 7th July, this is the largest and most exciting motorsports and car festival in the world. If you only attend one car show this year, Goodwood is the one to visit. This year’s theme is Speed Kings – Motorsport’s Record Breakers so the focus is on the most amazing motoring achievements.

 What’s on?

There is just so much to see and do! Some of the great names in F1 and Moto GP will be attending the festival, so it’s the perfect chance to meet the stars. Not only are the F1 drivers there but also some of the latest F1 cars. They really are amazing vehicles when you get up close to them. There’ll also be some automotive debuts coming up, so you can be the first to see some spectacular new releases.

For those interested in the motor vehicles of the future, a visit to the FOS Future Lab will give you a glimpse into the technology of the cars we could be driving one day.

The iconic Hillclimb

Always the highlight of the festival is the hillclimb, it’s an amazing sight to behold, culminating in the Sunday Shootout where the fastest drivers of the weekend pit their skills against each other. The supercars partaking in the hillclimb will also be presented in the Michelin Supercar Paddock so you can take a closer look at these magnificent machines.

The new Arena

New for 2019 is The Arena, check this out to see some awesome drift cars in action.

Great for families

Goodwood is a brilliant family day out, with lots going on that will keep the kids entertained. There’s a special family area near the startline with tot car racing, face painting and more. The whole family will certainly be impressed with the full scale McLaren Senna made out of LEGO!

Great dining options

You can prebook a restaurant meal, order a hamper for a fabulous picnic or pick up a treat from one of the many catering stands at the event. There’s also a great bar, Goodwood’s own beer tends to get very good reviews!
