Star Trek Discovery – Season 2 lands on Netflix!

Sci-fi fans will be excited this morning as season 2 of Star Trek Discovery hits Netflix today! It was launched in the US yesterday, so luckily we didn’t have too much longer to wait and hopefully you’ve avoided those first episode spoilers.

You can’t binge watch the entire series though, as they’re being released once a week, well it does give us something to look forward to though doesn’t it? If you’ve seen the trailers, you’ll have discovered some hints as to what is in store for the crew of The Enterprise. Captain Kirk’s predecessor, Captain Pike is introduced to the show, and there’s certainly going to be plenty of action in this season if the trailers are anything to go by!

We witnessed a couple of deaths in season one, so are those characters dead and gone? Well showrunner Aeron Harberts has indicated that perhaps this is not so with his rather cryptic clue… “ Death is not an ending”. There’s also going to be a guest star appearance in this season by comedian Tig Notaro who will play Chief Engineer Denise Reno of the USS Hiawatha.
