Jayne Henry July 31, 2018 Registrations With season 7 confirmed, and season 6 now starting, it’s all good news for fans of Orange is the New Black. Season 5 certainly ended in style, with the huge three day riot and it’s expected that Season 6 will pick up where Season 5 left off, dealing with the aftermath of this deadly major riot. If you remember, some of the girls were hiding out in a bunker, while the others were put on buses to go to new prisons, so we’re all set for exciting new series! All new for Season 6 We’ve got some changes coming for season 6, not least of which is a new prison, which from the trailers we’ve seen, looks pretty creepy! Then you’ve also got brand new credits for this series too. But thankfully, all the old favourite characters look set to return so that’s good news. We certainly won’t be seeing Piscatella and Humphrey again as they were killed in season 5 which is no bad thing, we’d all had enough of them! There is a new face though, as Rebecca Knox joins the show playing inmate Tina Swope. Orange is the New Black Trivia Did you know… Someone says the episode name in every episode. The first episode of Season 2 was directed by no other than Jodie Foster! And four episodes of the same series were directed by Andrew McCarthy. Beth Fowler who plays Sister Ingalls, was also in Sister Act and Sister Act 2. She must like dressing up as a nun! During filming of the opening scenes, the director wanted to catch a variety of emotions so they were each told to imagine either: something that made them laugh, something they’d rather forget, or a peaceful place. Now why not watch it again and see if you can work out which is which! Elizabeth Rodriguez plays the mother of Daya, yet she’s only 2 years older than Dascha Polana who plays Daya.
