Hey Smeg Heads! Red Dwarf is Back!

Fans of comedy sci-fi series Red Dwarf need to tune in to Dave on October 12th for a brand new series. Yes, Rimmer (Chris Barrie), Kryten (Robert Llewellyn), Cat (Danny John-Jules) and Lister (Craig Charles) are all returning to our screens for season 12. What’s more, the rumours have now been confirmed and we are definitely going to see a guest appearance from Johnny Vegas. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get to enjoy another guest appearance. Norman Lovett returns as Holly, the ship’s computer! It’s been 18 years since we saw him last. Doesn’t time fly?

Red Dwarf has always had a cult following since it first aired back in 1988. There just isn’t anything quite like it. The series has won several comedy awards over the years and even an International Emmy Award in 1994.

Season 12 is exclusive to Dave, so make sure you’ve got that channel at the ready! The first episode will be shown on October 12th at 9.00pm, so make sure you’ve got your kippers smoked ready for that date. It’s set to be a good one!

For fans of Red Dwarf, what better than a Red Dwarf private plate? We have plenty of amazing RD plates available. You could have 4000 RD, 32 RD, 46 RD, 68 RD, 98 RD, 3333 RD or 300 RD. If you’ve got a favourite character then you could have a plate with their name on. For example, if your fave character is Kryten then how about KRY 571N? Or fans of Cat could pick up CAT 8K or N4 CAT.

A private plate to celebrate your love of TV or film is a fun idea. Just type the name of your favourite series, movie or actor into our search box and see what comes up. Of course, with an old series that comes back on our screens years later and becomes popular again, you could also be looking at a very wise investment. License plates are well known for keeping their value, and they also often increase in value too. They’re becoming very popular as an investment, especially as you can have your new plates put on a retention certificate rather than having to have a vehicle available for each plate you buy. Of course you may also want to enjoy your plate for a while before you cash in your investment!
