International Podcast Day – Take Time Out To Tune In!

Are you a fan of podcasts or have you not yet been bitten by the podcast bug? Well it’s International Podcast Day on September 30th. So it’s time to discover the joy of podcasts, or find a brand new podcast to get hooked on. Perhaps you could take the time to introduce a friend to your favourite podcast.

Podcasts are brilliant, they really are. There’s a podcast on just about every topic imaginable, so whatever your interests, you’ll find something. A podcast is a short, audio (and sometimes video) show, rather like a radio show. But, you can listen to it whenever you like. Podcasts are great for filling in a little time while you’re on the train or in your lunch hour. Most podcasts are episodic, and you can subscribe to be alerted when a new show is released. It’s a little something to look forward to.

If you’re reading this blog because you’re into cars, then keep reading. There are loads of great motoring podcasts to tune into. Here are a few we’ve picked out that might interest you…

Under the Hood

Under the Hood is a popular American podcast giving you tips and guidance for car repairs. You might just learn to fix your car yourself and save yourself a fortune in garage bills!

Car Talk

Another podcast from the US is Car Talk, this is pretty funny, even if you’re not into cars. It’s well worth a listen. It’s a call in show and it’s bound to make you smile on a boring work day!

Motoring Podcast

If you like to keep up on the latest auto news then Motoring Podcast is well worth a listen. This podcast is a weekly show and it’s a decent length, up to an hour of car news and opinion hosted by Alan Bradley and Andrew Clews.

UK Classic Cars Podcasts

If you’re into Classic Cars then take a look at these UK Classic Cars podcasts by Kevin Flood.

This is just a tiny selection of the motoring podcasts out there, and even this small list will give you many hours of entertainment. Of course there are podcasts on every subject, just search for podcasts on your favourite topic and tune in on Internation Podcast Day!
