World Cup fever

This is set to be a summer of sport with the World Cup kicking off next week and of course Andy Murray defending his title as Wimbledon champion. Last year the nation was on the edge of their seats as the men’s singles final played out and of course there was much celebration when Murray finally got the title he had been dreaming of since childhood.

Who knows what this summer will bring, in terms of tennis it could be anyone’s game but as far as the football is concerned host nation Brazil will be in it to win it. It has been twelve years since Brazil last won the world cup and with them being the host nation they will be hungry to win it this year. Brazil are a very competitive and passionate team with team members who play all over the world. Famous players include Pele, Ronaldo, Garrinchan and Kaka and they are treated not just as celebrities in their home nation but more like gods.
