The most (and least!) satisfying cars to own

The results of the 2013 What Car? UK vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study are now out. The survey, produced in conjunction with JD Power and Associates, gathers data from drivers to assess how happy they are with their cars.

Let’s take a look at the best and the worst…

At the top of the list is Jaguar, with 82.7% of owners being happy with their vehicles. A close second is Lexus with a satisfaction level of 81.8%. Hot on the heels of Lexus is Honda with a rating of 81.0%. In 4th position stands Skoda at 80.9%, then in 5th place is Mercedes-Benz at 80.4%. Landrover have moved up the list from last year and now have a satisfaction rating of 79.0% putting them in 6th position. Volvo comes in 7th with 78.9% followed closely by Toyota with a rating of 78.9%. In joint 9th position are Nissan, Seat and Volkswagen, which all share a rating of 78.7%

At the other end of the scale are Fiat, Peugeot, Mitsubishi, Alfa Romeo and at the very bottom of the chart comes Chevrolet.
