The engine considerably more advanced than the three-cylinder 1.2 available in lesser Micras. In other respects this Nissan is much the same as the standard 1.2 already tested, which is to say disappointing compared with its distinctive and stylishly furnished predecessor. This Micra has been designed for emerging markets as much as Europe and Japan, and the result is an interior that’s quite cheaply finished in places to keep the price down, and more conventional styling that’s less progressive than the previous model’s.
