Stoke City player Jermaine Pennant has been reported to have forgotten he owned a Porsche. His former Spanish club Real Zaragoza contacted the player after city authorities called them to inform a Porsche had been parked at the local rail station for approximately five months.
Jermaine Pennant joined the Spanish club from Liverpool in 2009 but returned to the Premier League at the start of the season. According to an article published in the Spanish newspaper Marca, Pennant said that he did not remember having owned the car when Real Zaragoza contacted him. The club then opened the car, discovering the keys on the seat within. The car had a customised personalised number plate with the registration “P33NNT”. The player’s agent denied the oversight.
If you are lucky enough to own a Porsche would you forget all about it??
