Celebrate Range Rover’s 40th Birthday with New Number Plates
Posted on June 16, 2010 by Number Plates
It is hard to believe that the Land Rover’s iconic Range Rover Celebrated its 40 the Birthday this month. The Range Rover was the original luxury 4×4 SUV.
The first model, which went on sale back in the 1970, which is now known as “The Classic”, was a two-door Range Rover. The Classic Range Rover promised to ‘interfuse Rover car comfort with Land Rover strength and four-wheel drive mobility’. That ethos, combined with an ever-greater emphasis on luxury, remained at the core of the brand for the next forty years.
To Celebrate Range Rovers 40th Birthday why not purchase a new number plate for your 4 x4. Some of the registrations that are available are:
“Range Rover 40 4×4″
“Landrover 40 4×4″
Now with the new compact Range Rover (currently known as the LRX) due to debut at this year’s Paris show, the uniquely British SUV looks set to continue its march through the history books.
