The original model was launched at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989; inspired by classic 1960s British cars, such as the Triumph Spitfire, it was conceived as a small lightweight roadster.<\/p>\n<p>Sporty, fun and reliable, the MX5 will unveil its fourth version later in 2014. The Mazda MX5 MK4 is twinned with the Alfa Romeo Spider and has a six-speed manual gearbox. But how has this car evolved in the last 25 years?
