We have to agree, that is an awesome plate, but phew, that&#8217;s a lot of money to pay for it!<\/p>\n<p>90 plates were auctioned off raising a total of \u00a316.3 million, the proceeds of the auction are going to a good cause too, a rehabilitation centre for victims of traffic accidents.<\/p>\n<p>Previously the most expensive plate sold was the single digit &#8216;5&#8217; which went for \u00a33.4 million to an Emirati stockbroker, so this new sale has more than doubled that record!<\/p>\n<p>If you want to be Number One but don&#8217;t have a spare 7 million burning a hole in your pocket, we&#8217;ve got plenty of somewhat cheaper options for you&#8230; How about JJI 1 for \u00a318,000 or 1 GO for \u00a3150,500?
