Speedy Reg<\/a> sold me a personalised plate<\/a><\/strong><\/p>

I put it on my car<\/strong><\/p>

I really thought it was rather great <\/strong><\/p>

So I drove really far <\/strong><\/p>

I drove for hours I drove for miles<\/strong><\/p>

I was having so much fun<\/strong><\/p>

My plate turned heads, I raised some smiles<\/strong><\/p>

the day was nearly done <\/strong><\/p>

I was totally thrilled and overjoyed <\/strong><\/p>

At what my plate had cost <\/strong><\/p>

But then my mood changed to annoyed<\/strong><\/p>

I realised I was lost <\/strong><\/p>

So my tale it has a warning<\/strong><\/p>

When you get your brand new plate <\/strong><\/p>

Keep an eye on where you\u2019re going<\/strong><\/p>

Or you\u2019ll end up very late <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

As you can see, poetry certainly isn\u2019t a huge strong point here at Speedy Reg<\/a>, I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll be giving up the day job to become poets any time soon, but we\u2019ve had fun having a go and at the moment, a little fun distraction can do the world of good. So with it being World Poetry Day, why don\u2019t you have a go at writing your own poem? It could be about your friends or family, your work or even your car! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re not feeling inspired to write poetry, then how\nabout reading some instead? Reading or reciting poetry can be very relaxing!\nSometimes a touching poem stays with you for life. Do you have a poem that\nmeans something special to you? You could share your favourite poems on social\nmedia so others can enjoy them too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
