Today is Winnie the Pooh Day! Why today? Well you see,\nJanuary 18th<\/sup> is the birthday of AA Milne, who of course wrote the\nWinnie the Pooh books and without him there would be no Tigger, Piglet,  Eeyore and the rest. It\u2019s the perfect excuse\nto have some fun and forget you\u2019re a silly old grown up for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some ideas for a truly super Winnie the Pooh Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how will you celebrate this fantastic day? There are so\nmany great Pooh related things you can do! Of course you can read Winnie the\nPooh books or watch Winnie the Pooh films \u2013 that\u2019s always a treat. But how\nabout getting out for a teddy bear\u2019s picnic? Get all your friends to bring\ntheir favourite cuddly companion, wrap up warm, and get outside in the fresh\nair! You\u2019ll certainly be able to grab the best picnic spots at this time of\nyear, or if that\u2019s a little too much for you, why not host a teddy bear\u2019s\npicnic in your home instead? Spread a blanket on the floor, make some honey\nsandwiches and you\u2019re ready to go! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re not quite brave enough for a picnic in January,\nbut still fancy getting out and about, then how about a game of Pooh sticks?\nIt\u2019s the simplest pleasures in life that are often the best. Perhaps you have\nchildren who have never played Pooh sticks before. It\u2019s quite fascinating to\nsee kids show more enthusiasm at winning a game of Pooh sticks than winning at\nthe latest video game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You all know that Winnie the Pooh loves honey, he absolutely\nadores the sticky runny sweet stuff, so you\u2019ll need to make sure that you too\nhave some honey on Winnie the Pooh Day. Honey on toast is a great way to start\nthe day and I\u2019m sure Pooh Bear would agree with me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
