Speedy Reg – Glamorgan Classic Car Club Meet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If you own a classic car, there\u2019s nothing better than\ngetting together with other classic car owners. While your other friends and\nfamily start to glaze over when you\u2019re talking about your beloved car, other\nowners of classic vehicles will understand your obsession and be interested to\ntalk about cars with you for hours on end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it time to get involved?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wherever you live, it\u2019s likely you\u2019ll find a Classic Car\nClub somewhere nearby. You may have an interest in all classic vehicles, or\nperhaps you\u2019re looking for a club that specialises in one particular vehicle.\nEither way, there are plenty of clubs all over the UK so you\u2019re bound to find\none that suits your interests that isn\u2019t too far away for you to get involved\nregularly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you live in South Wales?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re in South Wales, check out the Glamorgan Classic\nCar Club. The club meets on the first Tuesday of every month and their next\nmeeting is on Tuesday November 5th<\/sup> at 7.30pm at the Tonyrefail\nWorking Mens club. Don\u2019t be nervous, they\u2019re very friendly and new members are\nalways more than welcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little more about the club…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club was founded back in 1999. From the original 7\nmembers, it has expanded year on year and now has more than 100 members. The\nclub members often exhibit their cars, so this is something else you could get\ninvolved in.  The club also organises\nseveral Fun Runs and an Annual Transportation Festival every year. Along with a\nnumber of other enjoyable days out. The club will be present at the NEC Classic\nMotor Show from the 8th<\/sup> to 10th<\/sup> November and the Ford\nFanatics Fire  & Rescue Show at\nLlantrisant on 10th<\/sup> November, so if you\u2019re going to either of these\nevents you can  find a member of\nGlamorgan Classic Car Club and learn more about it, or you can find all the\ninformation you need to join the club on their website here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make the effort \u2013 you won\u2019t regret it <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019ve never joined a Classic Car Club before, it\u2019s well\nworth making the effort to go to a meeting to see if it suits you. It\u2019s really\nfantastic to meet like-minded people and you\u2019ll soon discover you\u2019ve got a\nwhole new circle of friends. It\u2019s also a great place to get advice on\nmaintenance of your classic vehicles or to get recommendations for retailers\nfor parts etc. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
