Christmas is filled with tradition and nostalgia. Do you\nhave decorations on the tree that are old and tatty but they\u2019re part of\nChristmas and they just must be on there? Perhaps you have traditions that are\nunique to your family and it\u2019s just not Christmas without them? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we look back fondly on Christmas memories, it\u2019s usually\nour childhood festive moments that come back to us. The year you got your Tiny\nTears doll, your Speak & Spell or your Raleigh Chopper bike. When granny\nhad a glass of sherry and started to dance around the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how about this Christmas, bringing back a bit of 80s and\n90s nostalgia? There\u2019ll be those of you who remember the terrible gifts that\nseemed to be the height of fashion back then, soap on a rope, a nice bottle of\nOld Spice or the really annoying Big Mouth Billy Bass that was supposedly\nhysterical. Then there\u2019s the younger generation who will have no idea about\nChristmas back when you were small. An iPhone certainly wasn\u2019t on any Christmas\nlist. So perhaps it\u2019s time to introduce them to a simpler, old-fashioned\nChristmas with some retro gifts this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course terrible Christmas jumpers have never gone out of\nfashion, because they were never in fashion to start with, so they\u2019re a must\nfor your retro Christmas. Then dredge your memory for those 70s, 80s and 90s\nmust-have presents and get searching. You\u2019ll be surprised how many you can\nstill find these day. For the kids, check out retro games consoles and show\nthem what entertainment was like back in your day with Sonic the Hedgehog,\nGolden Axe and going further back, Missile Command and Pong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s nothing like an aroma to take you back in time, so why not treat people to a bottle of retro perfume or aftershave. Blue Grass, Exclamation, Old Spice, Brut and Charlie were all iconic scents of their time and you can still pick them up today to instantly transport you to another era. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
