On Saturday 2nd<\/sup> November, a stroll along London\u2019s\nRegent Street will be a completely different experience. From Piccadilly Circus\nto Oxford Circus the street is pedestrianised for this awesome show which opens\nat 10:30am and closes at 4:00pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A great day out <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll find so much to see and do at the Illinois Route 66\nRegent Street Motor Show this year, you can literally spend all day there and\nit\u2019s family friendly too with special events and areas for the kids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step back in time <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head to the Classic Motoring Zone for an array of cars from\nthe 60s and 70s. There will be special displays commemorating 60 years of the\nMini and 50 years of the Capri. The Motorsport Zone is the place to get a view\nof historic motor racing vehicles and also the British Touring Car Championship\nwinning car. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bonhams Veteran Car Zone will be particularly\nimpressive. This is the biggest Concours d\u2019Elegance of veteran cars in the\nworld with more than 100 pre-1905 vehicles in attendance before they head on to\nthe Bonhams London to Brighton Run the next day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American Dream <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

if you love Americana, you\u2019ll have a fantastic time in the\nIllinois Route 66 Zone. This is certainly an area to linger a while as there\u2019s\na special Blues Brothers Tribute performing here and look out for a chance to\nwin the chance to go on your own Route 66 adventure! Of course this zone also\nplays host to a wide range of classic American vehicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modern Delights <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head to the Motoring Today Zone for the latest supercars on\ndisplay, and latest motorbikes from Triumph and Harley-Davidson. There will\nalso be a special area specialising in electric vehicle technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun for the little ones <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kids Zone offers fun and entertainment for kids aged\nbetween four and ten. There\u2019s a dance troupe performing here every 30 minutes\nand there\u2019s also the chance to have a go at karting or have your photo taken\nwith a 1930s fire engine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head out on the highway with a 66 plate <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iconic Route 66 is perhaps the most famous road in the world. So how about a 66 personalised number plate?<\/a> It would be awesome if you drive a classic American car! We\u2019ve got absolutely loads for you to choose from.
