Perhaps the most anticipated event in the British Racing and\nSports Car Club calendar, the Formula Ford Festival at the iconic Brands Hatch\ncircuit is definitely a fan favourite. Formula Ford Festival began back in 1972\nand was first held at Snetterton. The festival moved to Brands Hatch in 1975\nand it has been held there ever since. This year will be the 48th<\/sup>\nBRSCC Formula Ford Festival, bringing the event close to its 50th<\/sup>\nAnniversary and will be held on Saturday 26th<\/sup> and Sunday 27th<\/sup>\nof October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could be watching F1 drivers of the future <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing about the festival that makes it so thrilling, is\nthat many Formula Ford Festival drivers have gone on to become world famous F1\ndrivers. Drivers such as Johnny Herbert, Eddie Irvine, Mark Webber and Jenson\nButton have all regularly taken to the Brands Hatch track for the Formula Ford\nFestival. So keep your eye on the new drivers and see if you can spot the next\ntop F1 talent in the making!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as the 48th BRSCC Formula Ford Festival, the weekend\nalso brings you BRSCC Fiesta Championship racing, Classic Formula Ford\nChampionship, BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship racing, Sports 2000 Pinto Championship,\nSports 2000 Duratec Championship, ASK Irish Supercars, and Irish Global GT\nLights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free parking and free camping available <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re hardy and don\u2019t mind the autumn chill, your\nweekend tickets also gives you free camping from midday before the first day of\nthe event until midday after the last day of the event. Caravans and motorhomes\nare also welcome. If camping really isn\u2019t your thing, there are also plenty of\nhotels close by! The event has free parking for the duration so you won\u2019t have\nto worry about extra parking costs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
