Head to the Castle Combe Circuit, five miles west of Chippenham\non Saturday 26th<\/sup> October to take part in Supercar Saturday and help\nraise money for the Stroke Association. This is an amazing day out where you\nget to take part in the action. There will around 60 cars you can choose to\ntake a ride in, and head onto the track with one of the experienced drivers who\nhave all donated their time free of charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Booking your track time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost to ride starts at \u00a330 and increases dependant on\ndriver and vehicle. Or you can simply pay \u00a330 for a lucky dip ticket and get\nthe next available vehicle. Sounds like a fun surprise to me! Your ride takes\nyou on a full five laps of the circuit and the younger members of the family\nare also welcome to have a go as long as they don\u2019t legally require a booster\nseat, so that\u2019s 135cm tall or over 12 years of age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only do you get to take to the track as a passenger, but\nyou can also get behind the wheel yourself with the Bristol Motor Club Top Gear\nstyled slalom challenge. There\u2019s also the opportunity to have coaching in your\nown car. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plenty more to keep you occupied for a fun filled day <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While you\u2019re waiting for your track time you\u2019ll find plenty\nto see in the paddock with many car clubs attending to exhibit their vehicles. The\nCafe and Racing Shop will be open for the day and if you\u2019re looking for\naccommodation you\u2019ll find plenty of options in the area from camping and self\ncatering to five star hotels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All proceeds to a very worthy cause <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry to the show itself costs \u00a35 for adults, OAPs pay \u00a32.50\nand children get in free. The gates open at 9:00am with the first rides being\navailable from 9:30am. All proceeds go to the Stroke Association, to help\npeople rebuild their lives after a stroke, and to help fund vital research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
