Co-located with the Battery Technology Show in the huge\nRicoh Arena in Coventry, the Future of Electric & Hybrid Vehicles\nConference is a trade event that\u2019s set to be fascinating and informative to\nanyone with an interest in electric vehicles. The conference runs over two\ndays, 22nd<\/sup> and 23rd<\/sup> of October with many speakers and a\nhuge array of exhibitor stands to browse. Discover the latest technologies and\nmake the most of the great networking opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show is open from 9.00am until 5.00pm on Tuesday 22nd\n<\/sup>and 9.00am until 4.00pm on Wednesday the 23rd.<\/sup> Be prepared for\na busy couple of days as the timetable is full of talks you\u2019ll want to attend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday begins with A future of electric commercial\nvehicles<\/em>with Tim Campbell, MD of Campbell\u2019s Consultancy. A look\nto the future of where the market is headed and what factors will play a part\nin its success or failure.  This is\nfollowed by Future Trends in the Global Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Market<\/em>\nwith Karien Ali, Marketing Consultant at Marketing Arrow, then the CEO of\nRockfort Engineering Angus Lyon takes to the stage with Wasim Sarwar, Senior\nBattery Systems Engineer for Williams F1 no less! They will be discussing the\nfuture of performance, from the racetrack to the road.  This is followed by a talk on the\nopportunities and challenges within the UK electric vehicle sector, a speech\nfrom Siemens Research Engineer Johan Vanhuyse regarding powertrain concepts and\nAlternative cells for alternative products<\/em> by John Fox of AMTE Power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afternoon brings more talks such as The right choices\nfor energy storage: using market needs, technology advancements and whole\nsolutions <\/em>by Jeremy Bowman Engineering Director at Hypermotive, C-Ion:\nNext Generation capacitive energy storage as an enabler for electric and\nautonomous mobility <\/em>by Hugh Sutherland Head of Technology at ZapGo Ltd and The\nImportance of Lithium for the Development of Electric Cars <\/em>headed by CEO of\nCornish Lithium Jeremy Wrathall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
