Other than the annual Grand Prix race, the track is rarely used and the\narea is set for redevelopment. A proposed concert hall will force the track to\nbe shortened making it too short for Formula 1 racing. However, Russia still\nhas a contract to hold a Grand Prix until 2025, so it\u2019s looking likely that the\nrace will be relocated to another circuit, quite probably to the new circuit\nthat is currently under construction just outside of St Petersburg. This is\nlikely to signal a big change in the Russian Grand Prix as the current circuit\nis held on internal roads within the park built for the 2014 Winter Olympics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Russian Grand Prix Timetable <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice 1&nbsp; &#8211; Friday\n27<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 Sky Sports starting at 08:45<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice 2&nbsp; &#8211; Friday\n27<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 Sky Sports starting at 12:45<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice 3 &#8211; Saturday 28<sup>h<\/sup> September \u2013 Sky Sports\nstarting at 09:45<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifying &#8211; Saturday 28<sup>h<\/sup> September \u2013 Sky Sports\nstarting at 12:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grand Prix Main Race &#8211; Sunday 29<sup>h<\/sup> September \u2013 Sky\nSports starting at 10:30<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlights of the qualifying and main race will also be\nshown on Channel 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will Mercedes win yet again?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s interesting to note that every single Russian Grand\nPrix since it began in Sochi in 2014 has been won by Mercedes.
