So the August bank holiday is finally here, but how are you\ngoing to spend your long weekend? There\u2019s no doubt there are a whole host of\njobs that need doing around the house. Or you could spend your time mowing the\nlawn. But that seems like a waste of a special weekend doesn\u2019t it? So why not\nhead to Silverstone instead for the 2019 GoPro British Grand Prix MotoGP? Say\nno to dull bank holidays and have an unforgettable weekend instead. There\u2019s so\nmuch going on, you can take the whole family or get a bunch of friends together\nand have a fantastic time. Go on your bike and you even get free bike parking,\nand there are facilities for storing leathers and helmets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s going on <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main event runs from 23rd<\/sup> to 25th<\/sup>\nAugust but there\u2019s something extra special happening on Thursday 22nd<\/sup>\nthat you won\u2019t want to miss. It\u2019s the Day of Champions with the chance to meet\nsome of the biggest stars of motorbike racing, listen to live music and watch\nsome fantastic stunt shows. If you can\u2019t get there for the Thursday then don\u2019t\nworry, there\u2019s going to be shows and music throughout the weekend too. The\nEntertainment Zone opens with the gates at 8:00am and the main stage\nentertainment kicks off at 9:40am and runs through into the evening. There\u2019ll\nbe something to watch on the stage between all the races, practice and\nqualifying rounds so you\u2019ll certainly never have a chance to be bored! The\nriders themselves will also be taking to the stage so that\u2019s going to be\ninteresting to watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Entertainment <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entertainment on offer includes live performances from Clean\nBandit, Toploader, Duke and Legacy. \nThere\u2019s the chance for the kids to try their hand at karting or riding\non an electric motorbike. There\u2019s a zorbing arena that will be a lot of fun or\nyou could try your hand at football darts. Always wanted to ride in the Isle of\nMan TT? Well now you can with the TT Simulator! There are also some great shows\nand displays including the UK\u2019s top BMX stunt group Extreme Bike Battle, and\nthe Army will be there displaying tanks and other military vehicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
