If you\u2019re right handed, you\u2019ll never truly know the trauma\nof being left-handed. It can be just so troublesome when the world is set up\nfor right handed people. You may struggle to use scissors, your ink smudges\nwhen you write and using a can opener can be nigh on impossible. Then there are\nthe awkward moments when you go to hug someone or kiss them on the cheek, but\nyou both go the same way and you end up bumping noses in the middle. But it\u2019s\nnot some sort of illness or condition so you don\u2019t get any sympathy from anyone\nother than perhaps your fellow lefties. So you struggle along without\ncomplaint, in a world that\u2019s just not quite right for you, or should that be\nleft for you? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you do have one consolation\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only around 13% of people are left-handed. So that makes you\npretty special. So special in fact that you have your own day \u2013 Left Handers\nDay, celebrated every year on August 13th<\/sup>. It\u2019s a day to embrace\nyour left-handedness, it\u2019s also the perfect time to tell everyone just how\nannoying it can be to be a left-hander and share your leftie pride or woes on\nsocial media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
