The FA Community Shield sees the winners of the Premier\nLeague go up against the holders of the FA Cup. However this year Manchester\nCity won both, and of course they can\u2019t play against themselves, so this year the\nPremier League runner up team will be playing, so that means it\u2019s Liverpool vs.\nManchester City. If you\u2019ve ever wondered why it\u2019s called the Community Shield,\nit\u2019s because proceeds of the game go to help community projects and charitable\norganisations all over the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When and where <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match takes place on Sunday 4th<\/sup> August with\nkick-off at 3pm. As always the event takes place at Wembley Stadium but if\nyou\u2019re not lucky enough to have tickets you can watch the match live on BT\nSport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who will be victorious?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the Community Shield, Liverpool have won\nmore times than Manchester City overall. Liverpool have won 10 times while Man\nCity have only won it five times. However, the last time Liverpool played in\nthe Community Shield was 13 years ago and Manchester City really are on top\nform at the moment. They won the Community Shield just last year, beating\nChelsea 2-0. Odds are that Man City will come out on top, but as with any\nfootball match, the excitement is in the fact that anything could happen! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
