This Sunday saw\nround five of the BHRC, the Harry Flatters Rally in the Epynt ranges of Wales\nand again it was incredibly exciting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event was the first asphalt round after four gravel\nrounds and this change of surface always brings a challenge and often plenty of\nsurprises and this was particularly thrilling, especially towards the end of\nthe race, with the top four crews finishing within 11 seconds of each other!\nWe\u2019re especially proud that Simon Webster and his co-driver Jez Rogers were one\nof these top finishing teams \u2013 well done guys! Simon managed to gain 8 seconds\non the final stage which was a fantastic accomplishment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course we\u2019re a little biased in our support of Simon\nWebster but there was plenty of great driving out there making it really\nexciting viewing. Dave Price performed very well considering he has very little\nexperience of asphalt, however a faulty gearbox held him back and Nick Elliot\nbecame the ultimate winner. It was great to see Elliot do so well after his 3\nmonth break due to a wrist injury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was a particularly nerve-wracking moment with a\nhigh-speed off involving Simon Webster that could have had some serious\nconsequences.
