After his recent success at Silverstone, Lewis Hamilton is\nlooking pretty good for winning the championship again this year, but he won\u2019t\nbe putting his feet up and coasting to that win. That\u2019s certainly not his way,\nhe\u2019ll be going all out to win all the races right up to the very last one. He\nwon the German Grand Prix last year, his fourth win here, and no doubt he\u2019ll be\nkeen to secure a fifth win this year. Michael Schumacher also took 4 wins at\nthis, his home circuit, the only other driver to be more successful in the\nGerman Grand Prix was Rudolph Caracciola. He managed six wins between 1926 and\n1939. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temperatures are soaring at the circuit, and there\u2019s a good\nchance of thunderstorms too, so it could be a very challenging race weekend in\nthe soaring heat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The German Grand Prix marks the halfway point of the F1\nseason this year and for those with Sky Sport F1, all the action will be\nbroadcast live from Hockenheim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hockenheimring circuit played host to its first race in\n1970. It has a total track length of 4.574km with 16 turns. The 77 lap race\ncovers a distance of 306.485km and the current lap record holder is Kimi\nRaikkonen who achieved a time of 1:13.780 in 2004.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
