Over the last month, 24 teams have competed in the FIFA\nWomen\u2019s World Cup with USA and The Netherlands making it into the final. This\nyear France is hosting the event for the first time ever with matches played at\nseveral venues across the country. The final match will be held in Lyon on\nSunday July 7th<\/sup> and kick-off is at 4pm (British Summer Time). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match will be shown on BBC 1 so you can watch it free of\ncharge and it will also be available on the BBC Sport Website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final teams <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA are in the finals again and as winners of the last World\nCup, no doubt they\u2019ll be keen to keep their title and up their total\nchampionship wins to four. Their place in the final was secured with a 2-1 win\nagainst England. That was the third match in a row with a 2-1 result in their\nfavour. One of the highlights of their journey to the final was beating\nThailand 13-0, a very impressive result. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Netherlands team managed to grab a place in the final\nduring extra time against Sweden and a 1-0 finish. The final goal being scored\nin the 9th<\/sup> minute of added time. This is the first World Cup final\nfor the Netherlands team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
