Donington Park plays host to the only British round of the\nSuperbike World Championship this weekend. It\u2019s a notoriously exciting circuit\nwith the awesome Craner Curves and some very fast corners, this is going to be\nsome electrifying racing. With just 16 points separating Jonathan Rea and\nAlvaro Bautista, we can expect some fierce competition on the track. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bautista started out very well, winning the first eleven\nraces in a row. But his luck changed as he lost the lead in both Jerez and\nMisano due to crashes. So unexpected as it is, Jonathan Rea now has a chance to\npull forward and take the title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the Superbike World Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course the main draw for this event is the World\nChampionship racing. Seeing world famous riders from all over the globe compete\nat speeds of more than 200mph is a massive thrill. But there\u2019s plenty more\ngoing on as well, making this a truly amazing weekend for anyone attending. The\nevents of the weekend will also include the Pirelli National Superstock 1000,\nWorld Supersport, World Supersport 300 and the British Talent Cup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So much more to see and do <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if that\u2019s not enough, there is so much going on away from\nthe track too. The Paddock Show will be a hive of activity and a great\natmosphere is guaranteed. With live music to set the scene, you\u2019ll get to\nparticipate in Q&A sessions with some top riders and there will be games\nand giveaways too. There\u2019s an improved Fan Zone this year with displays and\nshopping opportunities, and of course the Demon Drone Wall of Death is a must\nsee. Hold your breath as you watch terrifying stunts on the vertical racetrack.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could have a go on the extreme wheelie simulator. All\nthe thrills of a high speed wheelie without the danger, or get your face\npainted and have fun at the fairground. It\u2019s certainly worth sticking around\ninto the evening as there are some brilliant bands playing into the night. Why\nnot take advantage of the on-site camp ground? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
