The 106th<\/sup> Tour de France has now begun and will\nrun until 28th<\/sup> July. Last year\u2019s winner Geraint Thomas is returning\nto defend his title, but there\u2019s certainly some stiff competition from the\nlikes of Vincenzo Nibali, Jakob Fuglsang, Rigoberto Uran and Nairo Quintana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year the race starts in Brussels, this is only the\nsecond time in the history of the race that this location has been chosen for\nThe Grand Depart. On day three the race crosses over into Eastern France before\nheading south to Toumalet and then returning east to the finish line at the\nChamp-Elysees in Paris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly we won\u2019t be seeing British cyclist Chris Froome this\nyear due to him breaking his leg, ribs and elbow in a serious crash during\ntraining. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watching the Tour de France <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All stages will be broadcast live on ITV4 with highlights\nshowing the evening after every stage. It will also be shown on the Welsh\nlanguage channel S4C, as well as on Eurosport channels 1 and 2. Eurosport has\nalso introduced a new interactive show called The Breakaway where fans can join\nin discussions about the Tour de France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
