Goodwood Festival of Speed is an event like no other. Held\nin the parkland of Goodwood House from 4th<\/sup> – 7th<\/sup> July,\nthis is the largest and most exciting motorsports and car festival in the\nworld. If you only attend one car show this year, Goodwood is the one to visit.\nThis year\u2019s theme is Speed Kings \u2013 Motorsport\u2019s Record Breakers so the focus is\non the most amazing motoring achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 What\u2019s on?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is just so much to see and do! Some of the great names\nin F1 and Moto GP will be attending the festival, so it\u2019s the perfect chance to\nmeet the stars. Not only are the F1 drivers there but also some of the latest\nF1 cars. They really are amazing vehicles when you get up close to them.\nThere\u2019ll also be some automotive debuts coming up, so you can be the first to\nsee some spectacular new releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those interested in the motor vehicles of the future, a\nvisit to the FOS Future Lab will give you a glimpse into the technology of the\ncars we could be driving one day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iconic Hillclimb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always the highlight of the festival is the hillclimb, it\u2019s\nan amazing sight to behold, culminating in the Sunday Shootout where the\nfastest drivers of the weekend pit their skills against each other. The\nsupercars partaking in the hillclimb will also be presented in the Michelin\nSupercar Paddock so you can take a closer look at these magnificent machines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Arena <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New for 2019 is The Arena, check this out to see some\nawesome drift cars in action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great for families <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goodwood is a brilliant family day out, with lots going on\nthat will keep the kids entertained. There\u2019s a special family area near the\nstartline with tot car racing, face painting and more. The whole family will\ncertainly be impressed with the full scale McLaren Senna made out of LEGO! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great dining options<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
