Finally it\u2019s here, another series of the fantastic Netflix\nshow Stranger Things. Season 3 was confirmed back in 2017 so we\u2019ve been waiting\na long time. All the original cast return in the new series which is great news.\nWe\u2019ll get to continue with the adventures of Will, Eleven, Dustin, Mike and the\nrest of the fantastic characters that make this show so special. There are also\nsome new arrivals to the cast, including Maya Thurman-Hawke, daughter of Uma\nThurman and Ethan Hawke. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also some more good news, a fourth series has\nalready been confirmed and there are even rumours of a series five so we\u2019ve got\nplenty to look forward to! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight new episodes <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Battle of Starcourt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s going to be gory <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Gaten Matarazzo who plays Dustin Henderson, season\n3 is when it gets gory and he warns that this series isn\u2019t for the faint\nhearted. Fans had wondered if the show would move further on in time, worried\nabout losing that retro 80s vibe, but there\u2019s no need to worry, season 3 is set\nin 1985, less than a year after series 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forces of evil old and new<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Producer Shawn Levy stated earlier this year that this\nseries would see the show dealing with forces of evil that are new, but the\nshow\u2019s creators the Duffer brothers have also mentioned that the usual Upside\nDown monsters are likely to still feature. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
