So we\u2019re incredibly\npleased to let you know that he and his co-driver Jez Rogers have just scored\ntheir first championship win \u2013 well done guys! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This great achievement came in round four, the Red Kite\nStages on Sunday. A beautiful but tricky course set in the forest of South\nWales and named after the majestic birds of prey that have made these forests\ntheir home. It was certainly a challenging race, with high dust levels in the\nmorning reducing visibility, followed by rain in the afternoon which made the\nstages very slippery. Simon got off to a great start, quickly establishing an 8\nsecond lead. But Steve Bennett and Osian Owen were close behind and soon closed\nthe gap to just 5 seconds. Then things started to get really tense during the\nMargam stage, with Bennett forging on fast, eventually managing to turn that 5\nsecond deficit into a 1 second lead. But Webster had just had two fresh tyres\nfitted before the final stage, and managed to regain the lead with a speed 3\nseconds faster and some incredibly skilled driving, finally winning the race by\njust 2 seconds. It was certainly very exciting and nerve-wracking racing from\nthe start and an amazing end result for our favourite team. It truly was a\nclassic BHRC race that no spectator will forget in a hurry, this is what motor\nracing is all about! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re so proud of Simon and Jez, and we\u2019re sure this win\nwill be a great confidence boost for the them both. We can\u2019t wait to see what\nwill happen in the next round, the Harry Flatter Rally on July 28<sup>th<\/sup>.\nCan Simon keep up this winning streak on an asphalt course? We think he can do\nit and of course we wish them all the very best of luck.
