Fun family trips out in the summer can end up costing you a\nfortune, but the Power Maxed MotoFest in Coventry is totally free, and it\u2019s\ngreat for families, so why not head along and check out everything that\u2019s going\non. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Festival runs over two days, the 1st<\/sup> and the\n2nd<\/sup> of June. The focus is on motor sports, but there\u2019s so much more\ntoo. It\u2019s a celebration of Coventry itself and there\u2019s some great live music\nand street food, you can certainly spend the whole weekend there and you\u2019ll\nalways find something to see or do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thrilling motorsport action<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of static displays, but it gets really\nexciting when you watch the live displays at three venues, the GT Radial Sprint\nCircuit, the Skydome Fueltopia Arena and the Autotest Arena. There\u2019s so much to\nsee including drift demos, stunt bikes and drone racing and you can even take\npart yourself with an Autosolo passenger experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A party atmosphere with live music <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also three live music venues to entertain you\nthroughout your visit. BULLI In the Bull Yard features a high-energy mix of\nrock, dance and funk music. The Global Care CV Folk Stage brings you acoustic\nfolk and roots music and the MotoFest Community Stage has a great family\nfriendly selection of live music and other entertainment. You can even attend\nan orchestral concert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabulous Food<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The special Global Street Food Village will be offering some\ndelicious delights, with everything from burgers to burritos, there\u2019s bound to\nbe something to please even the fussiest of eaters. Of course you can also\nvisit the many bars, cafes and restaurants in Coventry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So much more <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a photography exhibition to visit, you can watch a\ntalented artist use his skills to paint a car and the kids can drive mini Land\nRovers and have their faces painted.  As\nthe event is held in the streets of Coventry, you also have the opportunity to\nexplore the city with its wide range of shops and fascinating museums. The\nlocal fire station on Radford Road is having an open day on Sunday 2nd<\/sup>\nJune that everyone will find interesting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn your visit into a holiday <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of places to stay in Coventry, so why not\nstay over so you can attend both days of the festival? Bikers can even camp for\nfree at the Horse and Jockey in Corley.
