Legends of UFC head to the Jeunesse Arena Rio de Janeiro on\nSaturday May 11th<\/sup> for UFC 237. The main event sees current world\nstrawweight champion Rose Namajunas up against Brazilian Jessica Andrade. The\nevent was originally going to be held at Arena de Baixada in Curitiba but the\nUFC failed to agree terms with home team Athletico Pranaense so the venue was\nmoved the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janiero. This is the first time ever that a\nstrawweight bout has headlined a pay-per-view UFC event. In addition to this\nchampionship battle, you\u2019ll also get to see some other key fights including a\nfeatherweight fight between former champion Jose Aldo and Alexander\nVolkanovski, and a middleweight battle that will see Anderson Silva go up\nagainst Jared Cannonier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UFC 237 also sees a long awaited rescheduled bout between\nformer bantamweight title challenger Bethe Correia and Irene Aldana. This fight\nwas due to go ahead back in August 2018 but was postponed due to an injury to\nBethe Correia. BJ Penn is still scheduled to fight, despite recent allegations\nof assaulting his ex-wife and threatening a farmer with a machete, which is\ncurrently under investigation. Penn denies the allegations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recent change to the card sees Talita Bernardo up against\nMelissa Gatto, instead of Jessica-Rose Clark who has recently sustained an\ninjury, snapping the ligaments in her foot, which has prevented her taking part\nin UFC 237. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
