Jap Fest – SpeedyReg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Europe\u2019s biggest celebration of Japanese cars in here for\nthe fourth year running at the iconic Silverstone Circuit. JapFest brings you\nmore than 3500 cars on display and so much more besides. Join over 16,000 attendees\non Sunday May 5th<\/sup> for a day out that\u2019s out of this world for\nJapanese vehicle fans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So much to see<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights of the festival include a special display to\ncelebrate 50 years of the Nissan Skyline GT-R trim. You\u2019ll get to see GT-Rs\nfrom the classic Hakasuka to the latest R35 model. Of course there\u2019s another\nanniversary this year too, the Mazda MX-5 celebrates its 30th<\/sup>\nbirthday and so you\u2019ll see a big MX-5 presence at JapFest this year, in\npartnership with the Mazda MX-5 Owners Club. There are big displays from Swift\nRallycross Championship and Fast Car Magazine, and the Show and Shine\ncompetition returns, good luck to all entrants! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You also mustn\u2019t miss the Drift Kings, where 40 drivers from\nthe British Drift Championship will be joined by front runners from the\nDriftCup. They\u2019ll take to the track for three 40 minute sessions and you\u2019ll see\ndrivers hitting drift speeds of over 100mph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a massive array of displays and retail opportunities\ntoo, it\u2019s a fully packed day out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get involved <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s plenty of action that you can get involved in too.\nThe Sprint Test gives you the chance to take 3 runs on the iconic Silverstone\ntrack for the title of fastest sprint of the day. You can enter in one of three\ncategories, FWD, RWD or 4WD. If you\u2019ve always wanted to feel like a F1 driver\nand take your Japanese car onto the Silverstone circuit, you\u2019ll have the chance\nof a 20 minute track session, you can even take a passenger with you. No track\nexperience is needed so it\u2019s a great introduction for beginners fulfilling that\nlifetime dream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets are \u00a325 in advance or \u00a330 on the door and includes a\nfree souvenir show guide worth \u00a35. Parking is free and camping is available too\nat the Whittlebury Park Campsite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
