It\u2019s a pretty huge milestone, Formula One is celebrating\n1000 races with the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend. However, technically, it\u2019s\nnot actually the 1000th<\/sup> F1 race, it\u2019s the 1000th<\/sup> World Championship\nrace, as several of the races that have been counted towards the 1000 were not\nF1 races, but races that awarded points towards the World Championships and\nseveral F1 drivers participated. We\u2019re a font of knowledge here at Speedy Reg\nyou know! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will certainly be hoping this\nmilestone race will be luckier for him than Bahrain where he suffered engine\nproblems just 9 laps before the finish. The problem has been located and fixed,\na short circuit in an injection system control unit apparently, and the same\nunit will be used for the Chinese GP, so let\u2019s hope the problem really is\nsorted! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lewis Hamilton is also a good contender for this circuit,\nhe\u2019s been on pole position a record six times at the Shanghai track. He won\nhere back in 2017 and as a result got a tattoo that reads \u2018Warriors Love\u2019 in\nChinese. Perhaps he\u2019ll get another one if he wins this weekend?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
