Sci-fi fans will be excited this morning as season 2 of Star\nTrek Discovery hits Netflix today! It was launched in the US yesterday, so\nluckily we didn\u2019t have too much longer to wait and hopefully you\u2019ve avoided those\nfirst episode spoilers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can\u2019t binge watch the entire series though, as they\u2019re\nbeing released once a week, well it does give us something to look forward to though\ndoesn\u2019t it? If you\u2019ve seen the trailers, you\u2019ll have discovered some hints as\nto what is in store for the crew of The Enterprise. Captain Kirk\u2019s predecessor,\nCaptain Pike is introduced to the show, and there\u2019s certainly going to be\nplenty of action in this season if the trailers are anything to go by! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We witnessed a couple of deaths in season one, so are those\ncharacters dead and gone? Well showrunner Aeron Harberts has indicated that\nperhaps this is not so with his rather cryptic clue\u2026 \u201c Death is not an ending\u201d.\nThere\u2019s also going to be a guest star appearance in this season by comedian Tig\nNotaro who will play Chief Engineer Denise Reno of the USS Hiawatha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
