Cancer needs to be shown who\u2019s boss. We just don\u2019t want it around and so it\u2019s time to raise funds to help send cancer packing. Every year, cancer treatments get better and more lives are being saved. But there\u2019s still a long way to go before cancer is banished forever. This all takes money, but it\u2019s certainly money well spent, so why not get funding raising and do your bit to help kick cancer\u2019s butt? Every single penny donated goes towards groundbreaking scientific research in the fight against cancer.<\/p>\n

To date, the campaign has raised over 38 million pounds. This has funded 35 groundbreaking trials that have benefited more than 8000 cancer patients.<\/p>\n

How you can help <\/strong><\/p>\n

Want to get involved? Great! There are plenty of ways you can join in and have some fun at the same time! You can order a fundraising pack from the Stand Up To Cancer<\/a> website. You really can do anything you like to raise money so use your imagination. You can do a sponsored sky dive or sit in a bath of beans, it doesn\u2019t matter what you do, as long you\u2019re fund raising!<\/p>\n

Stand Up To Cancer have two great suggestions for your fund raising which they\u2019ve called Get Gaming and Get Baking.<\/p>\n

Get Gaming <\/strong><\/p>\n

Take on a gaming challenge and get your mates involved. You could host an endurance gaming marathon, have forfeits for game losers, or insist everyone play in fancy dress. Why not stream your gaming over social media and see if you can encourage others to donate to this worthy cause?<\/p>\n

Get Baking <\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you happier in the kitchen than in front of a games console? Then your job is to get baking. Get\u00a0 your friends, family or work colleagues on board and set to creating your star bakes to sell and raise money.<\/p>\n

Or simply make a donation<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re short of time or inspiration, don\u2019t feel bad, you can simply make a donation and it\u2019s so easy to do. You can donate easily online via credit card or Paypal, or even by text.
