On 8th<\/sup> March, to coincide with International Women\u2019s Day, we\u2019re being treated to a brand new series of the hit Marvel show Jessica Jones. Every episode of this series has been directed by a female. You\u2019ll be able to watch series 2 from 8am on March 8th, perfect viewing with your cornflakes and morning cuppa!<\/p>\n

Like series 1, series 2 will also bring us 13 action packed episodes. No doubt you\u2019ll be pleased to hear that Krysten Ritter is back, playing Jessica Jones. There are also lots of other familiar characters making a return such as Jessica\u2019s friend Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor), Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville) and Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss). There\u2019s also a surprise return. The creepy villain Kilgrave played by David Tennant who was killed off in the final episode of series 1 is to make a return! There\u2019s going to be a big plot twist there no doubt!<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t be seeing Luke Cage (Mike Cotter) in series 2, but we will have some new characters making an appearance. New to the cast for this series are Janet McTeer from Ozark and JR Ramirez from Arrow.<\/p>\n

Series 2 will focus on Jessica\u2019s past. We\u2019ll learn more about the death of her family, how she survived and ultimately, how her super powers grew.<\/p>\n
