However, you won\u2019t have to wait that long for your next Star Trek fix as Series 1, Chapter 2 hits the screens in the US on January 7<sup>th<\/sup> on CBS with Netflix following close behind on January 8<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven\u2019t yet seen Chapter 1, then get catching up quick, but here\u2019s a brief outline of what you\u2019ve been missing. Discovery is set about ten years prior to the original Star Trek series, and follows a disgraced officer \u2013 Michael Burnham as she joins the USS Discovery during the war between the Klingons and the Federation.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been over ten years since there\u2019s been any fresh Star Trek on our televisions. Remember Star Trek Enterprise with it\u2019s er\u2026 unique theme tune? It would have been easy for Star Trek to disappear into a retro void of TV past, but thankfully it\u2019s had a whole new lease of life with Discovery and it\u2019s really grabbed the attention of audiences worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>What I\u2019m really enjoying about Discovery, is trying to work out how on earth they\u2019ll get everything to line up with the Original Series. The storylines seem to be miles away at the moment, but I\u2019m sure there\u2019s a plan in place to make everything tie in nicely when we get there! There have been plenty of twists and turns so far, so there\u2019s bound to be even more coming up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Looking for a Trekkie number plate? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Why not celebrate the return of Star Trek to our screens with a Trekkie number plate?
