Leonardo DiCaprio has been on our screens for decades now and he\u2019s starred in some amazing films such as Titanic, Romeo + Juliet, The Man in the Iron Mask and Avatar, to name but a few!<\/p>\n

He was born on the 11th<\/sup> of November 1974 so he\u2019ll be celebrating his 43rd<\/sup> birthday!<\/p>\n

Some things you might not know about Leonardo\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

He is called Leonardo because his mother was looking at a painting by Leonardo da Vinci when he first kicked in the womb.<\/p>\n

Leonardo donated a million dollars to the Haiti Earthquake relief efforts. He has also given a lot of money to LGBT causes.<\/p>\n

He nearly turned down the role in Titanic as he thought it wasn\u2019t the sort of film he wanted to make.<\/p>\n

As a child he suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder.<\/p>\n

He has been given an Environmental Leadership Award by Global Green USA.<\/p>\n

Leonardo owns an island off the coast of Belize.<\/p>\n

His first TV role was on the children\u2019s show Romper Room when he was five, but he was dismissed for being too disruptive!<\/p>\n
