The first series of Stranger Things was a massive hit. When it first came out, you kind of felt special when you discovered it. There was no big advertising campaign for the series, it just didn\u2019t need it. Word soon spread, and no doubt, someone told you about it, or mentioned it on social media so you gave it a try and got hooked too.<\/p>\n

When the trailer was released back in February, we were led to believe that the new series would be released on Halloween, but you\u2019re in for a treat because it\u2019s actually going to be launched a little earlier on 27th<\/sup> October, the perfect Friday night viewing! What\u2019s more, with series 2 you get one more episode than you had last time as there are 9 episodes due to be released for the new series.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be pleased to hear that all those geeky 80s kids from the first series are set to return, along with a couple of new cast members too. New additions are Max, a tomboy played by Sadie Sink, and bad boy Billy who is Max\u2019s older brother, played by Dacre Montgomery.<\/p>\n

What I love about Stranger Things are those 80s pop culture references and with this series being set in 1984 there are bound to be lots of movie references if you keep your eyes peeled and your ears ready. 1984 was a great year for classic 80s films such as Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Aliens and Gremlins.<\/p>\n

Director Shawn Levy has said that the focus of series 2 will be an attempt to return to normal after the happenings of series 1. I don\u2019t think that\u2019s going to be an easy task! We\u2019ve been promised a series that is \u2018bigger, badder and darker\u2019 than series 1. Sounds pretty good doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

There\u2019s even more great Stranger Things news on the horizon as the writers have stated that they\u2019ve got the story arc all worked out for series 3 and beyond, so you don\u2019t have to feel disheartened after you\u2019ve binge watched the whole of series 2!<\/p>\n

Fans of Stranger Things might like a Stranger Things private plate such as 83 ST<\/a> which is just perfect as the first series was set in 1983! or perhaps 704 ST<\/a>? Got a favourite Stranger Things character? We\u2019ve got some plates for these too. For fans of Barb (yes we know she\u2019s dead but there are rumours she won\u2019t be forgotten!) you can have BAR 8E<\/a>, BAR 8N<\/a> or BAR 81E<\/a>. Steve fans can pick up STE 41S<\/a> or one of our many STE plates such as TT10 STE<\/a>. If you like Will best then how about WIL 78<\/a> or WIL 600<\/a>? If Jonathan is your fave, we\u2019ve got plenty of JON plates such as 87 JON or 49 JON.
