The Q Awards are the biggest annual music award in the UK. The Awards started back in 1990 and with many awards focusing on a lifetime of achievement rather than on achievements over the year in question, there are always some big stars there.<\/p>\n

The post-awards gig is always pretty spectacular and this year will be no exception with the Manic Street Preachers and Sleaford Mods set to play. What’s great about the Q Awards is that you get to have a say by voting in the seven public categories. Have you voted?<\/p>\n

This year, for the fourth year running, the Awards will be hosted by Christian O’Connell of Absolute Radio. With this partnership with Absolute Radio you can be sure that if you tune into Absolute on October 18th<\/sup> you’ll be able to hear the whole show.<\/p>\n
