We’ve been waiting forever, we really have. I don’t know how I’ve coped for over a year without a new series of GOT. Well, actually I do know how I’ve coped, I’ve watched the whole lot all over again, and again.<\/p>\n

But finally, it’s very nearly here! Series seven! Woo hoo!<\/p>\n

So why did we have to wait so long for this series? Well it’s the storyline that is to blame. Winter has been coming for a long time, but now that it’s here, the series needed to be filmed in more adverse weather conditions, so they delayed filming for a few months. Okay we’ll forgive them then. A bit of extra dark gloomy miserable weather is going to enhance the show for sure!<\/p>\n

Sky Atlantic broadcast the series at the same time as it’s shown in the US so if you want to watch it asap, you’re going to have to stay up late on Sunday night to watch it at 2am on Monday morning. Don’t worry though, if you fall asleep, then it’s on again Monday evening at 9pm. Just make sure you don’t read any spoilers before then!<\/p>\n

In this series, sadly we’re only getting seven episodes rather than the ten we’ve been used to, so make the most of it and savour every moment!<\/p>\n

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jaime Lannister has confirmed that this series is action packed. The time frames are really speeding up, it sounds like it’s going to be amazing, edge-of-the-seat stuff!<\/p>\n

Also, did you know that Ed Sheeran is going to be making a guest appearance in this series? Apparently it’s a surprise for Maisie Williams who is a big fan. So look out for him while you’re watching!<\/p>\n
